1. Jhan & Danny to update us on JaC progress
CABLE ported to [email protected]. https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/trac/jules/browser/main/branches/dev/Share/HaC_5.5@15316 contains all elements at front end that need to be implemented in JAC and/or substituted with.
2. Claire to provide update on CABLE-WRF
Claire was unable to attend. Postponed
3. Discussion of namelist separation (cable.nml). What is the logical thinking behind the current separation of switches? e.g.l_laiFeedbk is is a model switch, but depends on CASA. Similarly, redistrib is a "parameter" but is actually a logical variable.

Proposal to separate namelist as per model. e.g.
This is not a high priority issue for JAC, however it is logical that it should be implemented in JAC first, eradicating the need to USE cable_common everywhere in the JAC implementation. Later it can be substituted into the offline app, and so the trunk. Jhan to update ticket.
4. The decision was taken to postpone the annual science meeting until folks were available - what month should we aim for instead?
The proposal was for early November. Prior to the 25/26th which is the BoM conference. Martin to set up a doodle poll
6. Rachel received a request from Tony Hirst for a CABLE speaker at the [ALCS](https://opus.nci.org.au/display/Help/Australasian+Leadership+Computing+Symposium+2019) in Canberra
The working plan is for Jhan to attend and deliver this talk. Jhan will work on an abstract and co-ordinate with Ian.
7. Spamming CABLE users re: committee meetings. (Lets fix dates for the meeting - the second Tuesday of the month. Grab a "permanent" meeting link etc)

This should be set up already for the first Tuesday in every month, but verify - and also verify consistent webex - it isn't so webex has to be updated in monthly spam to users anyway.
Ticket #222 Climate from zero
Discuss this with Martin and Vanessa. Was originally FALSE, changed to TRUE following a crash Ian found and we moved it to TRUE, but the details are forgotten.
Ticket #221 Fixes to make MPI GSWP3 runs work. Still an issue with the Or flag.
Corobborate with Martin that this indeed fixes the issue broadly? Indication in the ticket that there is a 2nd issue unresolved, Martin ticket this issue seperately and push the first fix here?
Ticket #219 has added Ci:Ca as an output variable

Discuss with Gab as he is most familiar with the issue and potential fix.
Ticket #217 Proposed Structure of CABLE 3
Separate the issue into code changes and directory structure changes. 'Jhan To implement in HAC - pass elements of Derived Data Types.
Ticket #218 is about the C3/C4 split in the canopy code. Martin has created a branch with this in and tested it.
