Overview of open storm architecture

The diagram above illustrates the architecture of the open storm platform. System components can be divided into two basic categories: (i) hardware components and (ii) server-side components. Hardware components include the sensor node and its attached sensors and actuators. Server-side components include the server environment, which contains tools for storing, accessing, processing and interpreting sensor data.
