Project Update 1

Thus far in my linux kernel endeavor I am on track for my first milestone of setting up the dev environment and getting ready to contribute. I've read over the styleguide and started practicing applying it in my other homework. I have also read the community and contribution guidelines once so I am familiar with e.g. the general process of email sign-offs for patches. I still need to get my own build of the kernel set up as well which will require a chunk of time with patience. My lack of build isn't currently blocking progress as planned in the original proposal because I'm still absorbing the plentiful documentation. It will, however, become a blocker soon for any development, productive or exploratory.
