Feature Request

Users can generate and share URL on guiderails.
e.g. https://guiderails.wasabigeek.com/?gen=bin/rails|g|model|ExampleModel|other_model:references{polymorphic}:uniq

GUI loads with given data in URL

Like a playground for rails generator.

Ooo I really like this idea. Some thoughts:

• I do want to include room to add more generators soon e.g. migration, controller, not sure about the paths yet (any suggestions? we could do something cheeky like /rails/g/model. Although maybe keep it short and simple is best e.g. /model)
• I'm not super keen on swapping out spaces for |, maybe we can just url encode the actual string? Could also do base64 but I think that's a bit overkill
• would suggest the query param be ?command instead

Thanks for the inputs, honestly I didn't put in much thinking into how it would look like. I added it here to have a discussion with you later. :))

• Yes, I did think about other generators. Your idea of namespacing(rails/g/model) sounds good and extensible.
• Using | as delimiter will add an overhead of parsing. URL encoding sounds perfect, base64 encoding will make URL unnecessarily long. Can explore tiny url API in either case to make it short & shareable?
• Yes, command sounds great. 🙇🏻‍♂️
