rebuild entire project again ?

i run the docker-build.sh and it works fine but when i made any change and run the docker-build.sh then it nukes the old stuff extract the chromium again and build from scratch again. how can we make the build faster

@gxanshu since the ungoogled-chromium patches need a clean copy of the chromium code, the build always cleans the source dir. It has to, since the patches would possibly fail on already patched or somehow changed sources and it would be quit hard to implement something stable that checks if patches were applied or where the build stopped last time and was changed since. I know it's annoying when developing on the build..;-)

Alright, makes sense for a production build. But does that mean that’s how you run the dev build all the time in Linux?

Perhaps quilt might be suitable? It is capable of applying patches and then restoring everything back. Domain substitution might be reverted if one creates a backup IIRC.
