Describe the issue

The zapper does not zap. I zap, swipe right twice, the element is still there.
Whoever thought "swiping right twice" is a good method of closing element zapper, should swap his head with his arse back - the previous swap did not work.

A button labelled 'Exit' would help inexperienced users with the feature.

Why can't the Enter button become the Exit button whilst the zapper mode is active, so if you don't know the quick but almost impossible to naturally discover way, you don't get stuck?
