Support for embedded v4l2loopback virtual camera. #12581

Hi, I'm trying to use the Linux virtual camera (v4l2loopback) when it's compiled directly into the kernel (not as a module). I can confirm that the device /dev/video0 exists and works with other software (e.g., Firefox), and the capabilities show Video Output and Video Capture. Is there any recommended way to force OBS to use a specific device path (like /dev/video0) for the virtual camera, without relying on the module check? I repeat that I am using a patch to configure the v4l2loopback device embedded in the kernel and not as a module, since I use a kernel that does not allow modules to be loaded. When v4l2loopback is a module, obs works as expected. |

@stephematician Sorry to bother you but, what do you think about this? Do you think it is possible to trick OBS into believing that the module has been loaded in the conventional way? Thanks in advance. |
