Nominating ljharb/Jordan Harband for the Moderation Team

I'd like to nominate Jordan Harband for the Moderation Team. Jordan has been a member previously and was always an excellent addition to the team. I've discussed Moderation Team membership with Jordan, and he is interested in being nominated.

I see now that the Moderation Policy says that I can't actually nominate Jordan:

Moderation team members are Collaborators who self-nominate or are nominated by the TSC.

I'm a TSC member, but I'm not a voting member and I'm certain that when the policy was written, there weren't regular/non-voting members to consider. The intention was that the equivalent of what are now voting members can nominate Moderation Team members.

Even if my interpretation is incorrect or in dispute, just to avoid any shred of doubt about the validity of the nomination, I'd like to invite any member of @nodejs/tsc to nominate Jordan here or for @ljharb to self-nominate. Thanks!

Given the history here, I’d prefer not to self-nominate, but I’d love to rejoin the moderation team if TSC members are on board.

If I understand the process, at this point, we wait 7 days. If there are no TSC objections in that time, the nomination passes.

From the Moderation Policy:

If there are no objections after seven days, the nomination is automatically accepted. If there are objections to a specific nomination, then a TSC vote in favor of the nomination is required.

It has now been more than a full week, so I think the onboarding can now proceed. @ljharb Do you want to reach out to someone on Moderation for the onboarding or would you rather have the team discuss it and have someone reach out to you?

I’m comfortable doing that, but it might make more sense for someone to volunteer the time themselves. If i don’t hear anything by tomorrow, I’ll reach out to someone directly. Thank you!
