Code Review
This pull request from Snyk upgrades react-scripts
from 4.0.1
to 4.0.3
, which is a good step to address several security vulnerabilities. My review focuses on further improving the project's dependencies. I've suggested upgrading react-scripts
to the latest major version (5.0.1
) to take advantage of significant improvements and stay current, which is crucial for long-term maintainability and security.

This upgrade to 4.0.3
is a good step for security. However, this version is from early 2021, and there has been a major release since. I recommend upgrading to the latest stable version, 5.0.1
, to keep the project modern and secure.
Upgrading to react-scripts@5
provides benefits like:
- Webpack 5
- Jest 27
- ESLint 8
- PostCSS 8
This is a major version bump, so it would be good to review the migration guide and test thoroughly after upgrading.
