Confused by setup instructions

I'm using packer. I think I have it working in my .http file

But when I hit <leader>rr nothing happens. I didn't think it would because I haven't set up that remap yet. What function do I need to call with my remap? Here's my setup:

require('kulala').setup({
	keys = {
		{ "<leader>Rs", desc = "Send request" },
		{ "<leader>Re", desc = "Open scratchpad" },
	},
	ft = { 'http', 'rest' },
	opts = {}
})

this should do it:

require("kulala").setup({
      global_keymaps = true,
      global_keymaps_prefix = "<leader>R",
      kulala_keymaps_prefix = "",
})

the keys and ft is specific to lazy.
