What happened:

I ran kube-state-metrics v2.16.0 which is logging:

W0710 09:36:11.767486       1 warnings.go:70] v1 Endpoints is deprecated in v1.33+; use discovery.k8s.io/v1 EndpointSlice

What you expected to happen:

No such logs.

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):

Run kube-state-metrics v2.16.0 on Kubernetes Server Version: v1.33.0 .

Environment:

• kube-state-metrics version: v2.16.0
• Kubernetes version (use kubectl version): Server Version: v1.33.0
• Cloud provider or hardware configuration: All of them
