[WIn10] - device disconnects after running MyWhoosh

Lastest v2.0.3+0 (but I had the same problems in every previous version))

MyWhoosh

Connected, Zwift Click works, after few seconds disconnect, click not works.

And now:

• sometimes I can reconnect and works again, and again disconnect after few seconds
• and sometimes app crash and exit

Tested many times with MyWhoosh, always disconnect and/or crash.

I'm experiencing the same issue on Windows 11, connection lasts about 90 seconds
I start swift control, then MyWhoosh. Shifting works for those 90 seconds, but then it seems like connection is lost.

Try the latest version, it should auto reconnect after a disconnect happens.
Also check if you have the latest firmware on your Zwift Click

Disconnected and can't reconnect. (connection finished but buttons don't work anymore)

I noticed something strange: when app works alone, everything is fine (at least for a few minutes), but issue occurs when I run MyWhoosh ride, then few seconds and connection is lost. Always. MW 4.0.2

(and sometimes one button click make 2 times keystroke).

Sounds like your bluetooth adapter is overwhelmed - nothing I can do here I'm afraid. Maybe a driver issue.
You may have better success with an external one via USB.

I updated the Zwift click and yesterday during an 80 minutes ride, the app worked flawlessly. Thanks

I confirm, buying a new BT device (TP-Link UB500 adapter Bluetooth 5.3) solved the issue.

Hey there,

an external Bluetooth Adapter solved my issue completely. Done three sessions today without disconnections or lags. The original built-in Bluetooth Hardware of my Laptop was overwhelmed with 2 devices at the same time.

For anybody facing the same issue on Windows, I would recommend:

1. First look for your current Bluetooth device in the Windows device manager (maybe called "Realtek...") and reinstall the driver. You can also google for the latest driver and download them manually from an official website.

1.1 Make sure to update your Zwift Gadgets and your Trainer with the related apps (f.e. Wahoo and Zwift Companion).

2. If the problems still occur, buy an external USB Bluetooth Adapter with Bluetooth version 5.0 or newer (5.2 - 6.0), which is rated for using multiple devices at the same time. Mine is rated for up to 5 devices. It was 10€. I installed the latest driver from the manufacturers website manually (even if Windows installed it automatically). !Restart your computer here! Then try riding.

2.1 If still facing issues: You can disable the original Bluetooth device in the device manager so that the Bluetooth connection works exclusively with the external Adapter from now on without interruption.
