Hello!
I love the project, and while I was looking at integrating it into a project I also wanted to offer some improvements that other people have requested as well.
This adds additional mapping methods that use generics which helps unify the method calls. A backwards compatible mapping methods is maintained for backwards compatibility.
This resolves #8
