Glaucia Lemos is a Software Engineer and former Developer Advocate at Microsoft, specializing in JavaScript/TypeScript and Artificial Intelligence. With over a decade of experience in backend development (Node.js, TypeScript, and .NET C#), she is dedicated to empowering developers to build AI-first applications using tools like Azure OpenAI, LangChain.js, and, Azure Container Apps and Azure Static Web Apps.
She has inspired and educated over 100,000 developers globally through technical content, international workshops, and open-source initiatives. Glaucia led impactful projects such as the Contoso Real Estate modernization—optimizing more than 68,000 lines of code and driving Azure adoption among JavaScript developers.
She is the creator and maintainer of Microblog AI, an open-source project that teaches how to build serverless, production-ready, AI-powered web applications using Remix, LangChain.js, and Azure services. She also contributes to strategic education initiatives like Generative AI for Beginners and has made numerous contributions to key repositories in the Microsoft Azure-Samples organization.
As an active member of the Node.js and React communities, Glaucia has supported localization efforts and continuously advocates for diversity and inclusion in tech. Her mission is to bridge the gap between AI and the JavaScript ecosystem—making innovation accessible, secure, and inclusive for every developer.
Currently, Glaucia lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. And her greatest passion is sharing knowledge with everyone!
In her free time, Glaucia loves listening to good music, watching movies or TV series, and exploring new places. She travels to go snorkeling, meet new people, and learn new languages. She enjoys live coding sessions on her YouTube channel and loves sharing knowledge through technical articles, videos, and presentations. Glaucia's primary focus and goal have been the development of applications in JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript integrated with Cloud services and AI.
