Describe the bug

The application isn't building when
distributionUrl=https\://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-8.7-all.zip
is set. The error

Execution failed for task ':audio_streamer:compileDebugKotlin'.

comes up, and is not fixable from inside our app code. The newest version of audio_streamer seems to be updated recently for the latest Gradle version and as such should work.

Steps to Reproduce

Create an app that uses Gradle 8.7 and includes the latest noise_meter (5.0.2), it will not build with above error.

Expected Behavior

It builds.

FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.
