Due to the recent controversy around removing the carriersize default size by the Bitcoin Core developers I think it is important that the Bitcoin.org site, that I believe should represent Bitcoin as a whole and not Bitcoin Core, is (more) neutral related to what node software to use. Right now it seems Bitcoin.org IS Bitcoin Core, which of course from a historic perspective is true. However, I believe that needs to change.
I am willing to put a significant amount of work to make these changes. With this pull request I just want to 'test the waters' to see if the Bitcoin.org team is about Bitcoin as a whole or about Bitcoin Core only. Accepting it would be a major thing for me (and many other Bitcoiners I think) and would confirm Bitcoin.org is about Bitcoin as a whole and not about Bitcoin Core (and it's developers).
