Maintenance: Remove workaround for InvokeStore type issue in Batch utility #4796

Summary
When upgrading the InvokeStore utility in #4794 we needed a workaround because of a build issue with the batch utility.
Why is this needed?
We would like to remove any workarounds for type issues and rely on the InvokeStore package types.

Solution
This requires investigation, the same approach works for Logger, Metrics, and Commons.
