Description of the issue
In 1.8, as part of overarching fixes for the Binder integration, a field was added to the transfer browser called Access System ID. This field allows you to pre-fill an identifier from a target system (Binder, AtoM, more?). When the DIP is uploaded to Binder or AtoM, Archivematica will use the identifier as the target as if the user had entered the target slug in the DIP Upload to AtoM
pop-up window.
Suggested fix
Information about this feature needs to be added to the Transfer page and screenshots should be updated.
This also has an impact on the processing configuration - if you set DIP Upload
to Upload DIP to AtoM/Binder
in the processing configuration, you MUST enter an access system ID for the transfer so that Archivematica knows where to send the material. If no access system ID is entered, the DIP upload will fail.
