Is it safe to add more client nodes?

I have a production cluster deployed a year ago using this Ansible role.
How safe is it to add more client nodes to the existing cluster using this role again?
My concern is that, as far as I remember, this role runs for all nodes at once, and it will restart Nomad in the process.
