Aber ist dieser API Endpoint der Offizielle? Es findet sich in der Doku teilweise ein anderer api.hosting.ionos.com/dns/v1

Und kannst du mir bestätigen dass diese Nameserver nicht veraltet sind und API fähig sind, denn da findet sich in der Doku auch etwas anderes zu ...

Ich bekomme folgenden Fehler:

Bei Ionos.de hab ich die Domain gekauft.. dort hab ich versucht die Nameserver zu ändern, bekomme folgenden Fehler:
Bitte entschuldigen Sie, in unseren Systemen ist etwas schiefgelaufen.

Am besten laden Sie die Seite einfach neu. Wenn Sie die Seite bereits neu geladen haben und der Fehler weiterhin besteht, gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor:

Prüfen Sie auf der IONOS Statusseite, ob Ihr Produkt von einem allgemeinen Fehler betroffen ist.
Wenn es kein allgemeines Problem ist und der Fehler länger als 2 Stunden andauert, kontaktieren Sie bitte unseren Kundenservice.
Wir entschuldigen uns für die dadurch entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten.

Seit 2022 sollten diese wohl für diese für die IONOS cloud verwendet werden:

IONOS has two DNS APIs

1. Cloud DNS API [1] and you can use the corresponding acme.sh [2]
2. API for Hosting services [3] and his own acme.sh [4]

They use different autentication methods.

From your last post, I assume that you are a customer of ionos.de for hosting services, so you are using 2.

My team is on the area of Cloud DNS, but I will try to bring attention to your topic, forwarding your request internally.

HiWell I use the ionos cloud and terraform. At ionos.de i have no more servers. I bought just the domain there. I am already in contact with a collegue of yours with that email.

I finally have the api endpoint that at least gives us some information: https://dns.de-fra.ionos.com/zones/

When I run my script I get this:

Gefunden: ns-ic.ui-dns.de. ns-ic.ui-dns.biz. ns-ic.ui-dns.com. ns-ic.ui-dns.org.

So... first of all the found nameserver are in a different order and have "." dots at the end. I already tried to change it at the domain registrar IDK why its there.. and by the way its the mother company ionos.de where I got the domain.. so I am clueless at this point. Also im wondering...arent these debrecated nameserver structures?

by the way... I use for everything IONOS Cloud . Just the domain registrar is ionos.de

wI found the sources that you mention, they make stuff even weirder for me... I dont get results there for example using IONOS_API="https://api.hosting.ionos.com/dns"

So the : https://dns.de-fra.ionos.com/zones/ gets me results... but says the nameservers are not as expected.. (see above message)

The Cloud DNS API is the one that manage the zone for your domain https://dns.de-fra.ionos.com/zones/ BTW: The DCD displays as well the Zones and records of your service

But once the zone is there and the domain Name Servers are pointing to the same zone Name Servers (what is the case), there is no need to do anything with the Cloud DNS API. Just use the acme.sh with IONOS Cloud to get the certificates. Here the how-to:
