Docker throws permission denied error

Hi Clio Community, it been a 2 weeks now and I am pulling my hair on this challenge :-\

When I start clio in a docker container from the most current image I get a permission denied error:

Error response from daemon: failed to create task for container: failed to create shim task: OCI runtime create failed: runc create failed: unable to start container process: exec: "/opt/clio/bin/clio_server": permission denied: unknown

I created a docker-compse.yaml file, where xrpld and cassandra start correctly :

A simple docker run yields that same error:

docker run -d -v ./opt/clio/etc/config.json:/opt/clio/etc/config.json -v ./opt/clio/log:/opt/clio/log -p 51233:51233 rippleci/clio:ba905e38ae16eea8061a39da05947ebe90c512e1

I would vey much appreciate to understand how to set the clio_server permissions so that the Clio docker container will run

Hi Chris, I see that you're using the same old image tagged ba905e38ae16eea8061a39da05947ebe90c512e1.
Our code had a bug, which created Docker images where the clio_server binary was not marked as executable.

I fixed the bug, but you have to use a more recent version of the image.
Please, try it with the image rippleci/clio:cfffbfba9dabcfa758d76f523b9bbb2d08218283
