Mixing Tiles

Hello, shown in the picture, there are 2 Rule-Overwrite-Tiles with the same setup, i need to connect them to each other, also if possible to setup "Border-Tiles" that have a special look, depending on the neighbor tile from the other "Rule Overwrite Tile".

How can i archive this?

Hi, would the border tiles look like a mix between the white and the brown terrain that you have?

We have an example Custom Rule Tile in https://github.com/Unity-Technologies/2d-techdemos/blob/master/Assets/Tilemap/Rule%20Tiles/Custom%20Rule%20Tile/Custom%20Rule%20Tile.unity which may helps to mix in two terrains together. Do let us know if your usage is similar or something different!

Hello, yes i want to mix it.

At first I thought that a rule overwrite tile ensures that the other "tile" is regarded as related and the rules also apply, but apparently not.

Hi, no, it does not. You would need to write a Custom Rule Tile such as the one in the example to do so.
