Overlapping comment

Currently you can't comment on a selection that already has a comment.

Describe the solution you'd like
Be able to comment on a portion or whole selection that already got a comment.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Google Docs allows this but it's far from optimal

• the highlighting is the same color you can't see the over lapping comment
• the comment icon is hard to find (you don't see it if your screen doesnt show the whole toolbar)

Hi, seems like you're using a custom component for the comment button in the formatting toolbar. The default AddCommentButton from @blocknote/react is always shown as long as commenting is enabled (i.e. when the comments option is passed to useCreateBlockNote). You can see this in the comments & threads demo:

Can you check your implementation for the button to add comments?

The problem that @virgile-dev is mentioning, is that you cannot reach an overlapped comment, it is a UX problem, see:
