Closes #20 (Game state should track previous and current player for Gist forking/editing logic) but revealed a new bug documented in issue #24 (If current player disconnects, next turn can trigger unwanted Gist fork)!

Throwing this out, because I'm replacing issue #20 and #24 with issue #26 ("Game state should track Gist owner for forking/editing logic") -- a much better solution!
