Chrome for Testing does not read policies from /etc/opt/chrome/policies/managed

Hi,
We are trying to add AutoSelectCertificateForUrls policy to CfT on Linux. Despite adding the required JSON in the directory /etc/opt/chrome/policies/managed, CfT does not seem to read the policy.

Please assist

The issue is specific to CfT builds.
We are able to update policies with Chrome official builds.

Would like to log a bug for this issue

Tried saving the JSON to /etc/opt/chrome-for-testing/policies/managed and also to /opt/chrome-for-testing/policies/managed

It does not work.

Must be an issue with the recent versions of CfT builds.
Reported an issue on their site.
