How to remove the Startpage.com plugin? #891

I want to remove the existing Startpage.com plugin which is preventing the re-installation of the search engine. When I try to reinstall it in the normal way the popup in the following screenshot appears which states that it can't be reinstalled because the plugin already exists.
Alternatively, as a workaround can the existing plugin be renamed. If so, what are the steps to do that. |
