Datasets to target for autodiscovery of calculable parameters / Pin important quantities

It may be complex to have a full detection of all auto calculable parameters for every oceanographic dataset. We thus may need to restraint the datasets, and the parameters.

I start short lists that we can improve via discussion:

Here are the quantities that oceanographers are usually happy to use (I just went through the list and tried to imagine the common variables, please add the ones I missed):

• CT and SA
• N2
• alpha, beta, alpha_on_beta
• cp, cp_ice
• geostrophic_velocity
• p (p_from_z) or z (z_from_p)
• pt, pt0
• rho, sigma0, sigma1, sigma3, sigma4
• specvol
