make Ice3.4 with gcc 9.4

Excuse me ,how to modify such error? we need to communicate with different linux redhat version ,for reduce work ,we try to use the same Ice version with different redhat version .

The simplest solution is to use an Ice version that is supported on your target OS. All Ice versions are interoperable, so different versions can communicate with each other without issues.

the result is : with the same ice version such as ice3.4.1 , with differernt gcc version (4.4.7 & gcc 9.4.0 ) ,can communicate without rebuild slice, but Ice need to rebuild first; with different ice version such as ice3.4.1 ,ice3.4.2,ice3.7.1 ,with same or different gcc version,we need to rebuild slice,then rebuild Project ,can communicate ! By communicate, I mean that two applications using different Ice versions can exchange requests over the network. The on-the-wire protocol is compatible across Ice versions.

However, you cannot use code generated with Ice 3.4.1 in an Ice 3.7.1 application—the generated code is specific to the Ice version used to generate it.

Ice 3.4.1 is quite old and not recommended for new development. For new applications, we suggest using Ice 3.7.10, which can still interoperate with existing applications running on Ice 3.4.1.

yes，i donot use code generated with Ice 3.4.1 in an Ice 3.7.1, i just use code generated as Server with Ice3.4.1 ,then code generated as Client with Ice3.7.1,then requeset Server ,i test it and get return . you mean such way is not correct?

It is not clear what you are doing. If you are getting an error can you show the exception and the related client and server code, otherwise is difficult to give you better advice.
