AI Agent CTRL+ENTER conflict with new line

Is anyone else experiencing this with a brand new installation on Linux where ctrl+enter does not make a new line in the editor but instead launches the assistant?

Expected behavior

I played around with keybindings and managed to get it. However this issue came from a brand new installation. Not sure if an issue or expected behavior however I did not have this happening on ios.

I am a new user to zed and have been experiencing this. After reading your post I tried to remap the assistant: assist Action but that imply adds that same action again with the new keybinding and does not remove the old keybinding.

When I delete the old entry zed creates a entry but things still do not work as expected.

What did you do in the key bindings to address the original problem?

In the keymap.json add this:

    "context": "Editor && mode == full",
    "bindings": {
      "ctrl-enter": "editor::NewlineBelow"
    }
  }

this overrides the previous command. However I didn't really use copilot much, so I didn't reassign. You may have to.

Thanks that works. I also added a reassign for the assistant:

    "bindings": {
      "ctrl-alt-/": "assistant::InlineAssist"
    }
  }

It seems like I was having a lot of problems changing the keymap using the gui editor. Doing it directly in the keymap.json file helped.
