Is async token retrieval using mutate fn provided by authExchange callback supported?

The mutate promise hangs forever, it never resolves but I know it successfully calls the mutation because if I provide my own fetch instance with logging.

I see fetch being called along with its response but the promise never resolves. (For now I am using plain fetch instead of utils.mutate which works fine)

Seems the issue is fixed on latest 4.2.2
