If you look at Google’s blog (https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2025/08/stable-channel-update-for-desktop_19.html?m=1), it is sometimes common for them to release two versions for Windows and macOS. These two versions are exactly the same thing (except the version number of course), but since UGC will only release one single number (often the single number used by Linux releases), the macOS release also use that number (instead of the one in the automated issue). But rest assured, these two versions are practically the same. |

Thanks a lot for your reply, the thing for me is to use always the browser that is up2date. Google's versioning is a little bit strange though I must say... Many Thanks!! |

Hi!
According this post:
#3438
the latest macOS version should be 139.0.7258.139. But brew gave me the version 139.0.7258.138 today and it was build just recently, please see:
https://github.com/ungoogled-software/ungoogled-chromium-macos/actions/runs/17159134282
So my question is, are the versions 139.0.7258.138 and 139.0.7258.139 now practically the very same or what might be this thing?
I'm aware that Cromium v. 139.0.7258.138 and 139.0.7258.139 should fix the issues tagged with CVE-2025-9132.
Thank you very much for your response & keep the project going on!
