Downloading things you make

Hello!

I'm new here, trying to get an understanding of how this beautiful thing works— but in my dream scenario I'm able to download/export the things I make somehow. I was not able to find anything in the documentation, nor online in general— is there something I'm missing, or is this not a feature?

I suppose any way to get the sounds out of code onto some sort of file I can use elsewhere— from your response I'm gathering that perhaps the accepted way of doing things is to record what you make using the 'audio output device' selection?

Sorry for the slow reply! Yes that's right, people usually record in something like 'audacity'. Depending on your operating system you might need some additional software to connect it up - e.g. blackhole under mac, or vb-cable under windows. Under linux things tend to 'just work' but qjackctl may help.
