I noticed Zim supports exporting the entire notebook to a single file. Each individual note is marked by its own heading. I decided to use that. I exported the entire Zim notebook to a single Markdown file, then imported that Markdown file into Standard Notes. I've noticed Standard Notes doesn't like when many files are uploaded at the same time, so I used another service to store all the files that were attached to my Zim notes. Thankfully, they are organized by note name in the export. |

Has anyone else migrated from Zim to Standard Notes, and do you have any tips? The File > Export functionality in Zim works well for notes without attachments, and Standard Notes imports them well. However, I can't seem to find a way to automatically migrate files attached to Zim notes. (I tried exporting the notes as MHTML, but then Standard Notes complains that the file being imported is too big.) Also, I don't know how to convert my Zim group/folder structure to Standard Notes tags.
Has anyone migrated from Zim to Standard Notes, and do you have any tips? Thanks!
