… It looks like the "Custom Preview Header" thing — currently in development — could wing this, and I'll probably pursue that, but I'd rather have this in the topmost menu, as it is a studio-wide functionality. Users should be able to use this from the Content editor as well. |

I currently have a "deploy" document action. Looks something like this:

I don't think this is a very intuitive placement, though. I had one user who got the impression that they should deploy on every document change — which makes sense, because that button exists in the context of a single document.
Now that I have users in the "Presentation Tool," it's gotten even stranger… there's so many more menus and buttons now that the function feels even more buried.
I'd like to put my Deploy action up in the top "menu" space, but the Studio Tools only let me put in links to full interfaces. There's no interface for deploy, just a button.
What I'd really like is the ability to add in a new button over here, like a MacOS menu tool:
