Is window.ethereum injected with google login using AppKit?

Is window.ethereum injected with google login using AppKit?

When I console window.ethereum it is showing undefined after I have connected using google login and AppKit.

I have a projectID in my .env file, but I did not verify a domain. When running locally the domain looks like:

http://localhost:5173/

I cannot add localhost to the domains to be verified.

I really do not know why window.ethereum is not populated after have logged in using Google - I thought the whole point of account abstraction is that it injects it?

Seems like reown's github discussion is not being monitored much. Unfortunately I cannot join the discord channel as I cannot validate for some reason.

Anyway could not wait much longer, so I injected the Smart Wallet provider into window.ethereum myself. - seems a bit strange that when we choose the Google Login option of AppKit that it does not inject it itself.

This is how I injected it using React:

I could not see a connect option for opening the AppKit dialog so was just using:

<appkit-button label='Login / Connect'/>

So I added AuthProvider in my Main.tsx as follows:

So basically the AuthProvider listens to address changes and then updates window.ethereum appropriately

I also use AuthProvider to login into a backend system and get a JWT token. That bit of code is not above. Had removed it to make the above more readable.

I find it pretty mad that reown is not following this discussion forum much - can someone from reown be allocated to look at questions here?
