This fixes #69 and also upgrades dependencies. Seems like https://github.com/facebook/react-native/blob/v0.61.1/template/package.json#L12 is not completely up to date. I've used https://github.com/react-native-community/rn-diff-purge to find the actual dependency versions used in the latest RN.
