I am writing because, ironically, I wanted to recover this project (which has mysteriously disappeared) to present it at my AI conferences. I intended to use it, along with code snippets and prompts, as a case study. This is, frankly, a complete scam.
Before I forget, how exactly do you quantify processing usage? By characters or by spaces? This is not clear to me. If a model requires 132 attempts to fully generate a simple piece of beginner-level Python code (the same code, I specify)—a mere 8 lines long—how is that measured?
In any case...
The reason I am writing here is that it is genuinely disappointing. After two weeks, and despite having a trial account (you still have my billing details), I was essentially told in semi-polite corporate terms that because I wasn't a "premium" user, I had no right to complain about the system's malfunctioning. The attitude was, "What are you even complaining about?" Disappointing is an understatement.
I have now subscribed to a new paid account. And what is my surprise? I can't do anything. I am limited to basic models (4.1, 4.0, etc.) and that's it. I subscribed on the 28th, and my usage counter hasn't changed. What is going on?
You might ask, if my experience was so negative, why did I pay for another account? Yes, that's a logical question. The disappointment was so profound that I spoke with a major artificial intelligence publication. They have commissioned me to write an article and a comparative analysis between different API resellers. So, I am now in the process of documenting my experiences.
