Apitally - Metrics, logs, and alerts for AdonisJS

Hey AdonisJS community,

When shipping APIs, we need access to relevant logs and metrics to troubleshoot issues effectively and understand API usage/performance. However, I've found that most monitoring tools bury these in bloated dashboards that are a pain to use.

That's why I built Apitally, a simple API monitoring tool for AdonisJS that focuses on what actually matters for APIs:

• Usage metrics (per endpoint and consumer)
• Error tracking (with stack traces)
• Performance monitoring
• Request logs + correlated application logs
• Alerts with Slack/Teams notifications

The Apitally SDK integrates with AdonisJS through a lightweight middleware, which captures metrics and logs for all API requests and asynchronously sends them to Apitally’s servers in regular intervals.

Setup is super easy thanks to an ace configure command:

npm install apitally
node ace configure apitally/adonisjs

@itssimon you can simplify the setup even more on adonis v6 with node ace add <your_package> that will install provider, middleware etc.
I did not find any doc but you can find an example here
