Guidance Chatbot Integration in UI

We’re building a local/offline metadata assistant that uses OpenMetadata as the knowledge base (entities, lineage, glossaries, policies). We’d like guidance on the best search endpoints/fields, local auth patterns, and policy-aware retrieval but Is there a way to do this without having to edit code on the frontend side?
