OBS not respecting EOS for Media Source using RIST

I expect RIST also getting correctly closed when the stream ends (like it does for SRT), but I guess it's not integrated,
there is a workaround using ffmpeg options like this, but it's rather unstable because it is not integrated and OBS is probably not designed to work well with this. So none of the options/checkboxes that work for srt work for rist.

I'm not alone with this as I provide a solution that is using RIST instead of SRT

Any comments on that are welcome, or maybe options that would work too (more stable)

as a sidenote: the librist version is also very old there and it would be nice to get it updated too (like it was for srt)

I have the same Problem with rist. But I can't used the ffmpeg option. OBS crushed

well but it was a question, because I don't have a crash-log, for the other person it seems to crash.
so from my understanding the checkboxes should handle that if theres an EOS that you could refresh the source (if theres a new one incoming)/show nothing (while nothing is coming)

plus this workaround shouldn't be needed?
so I'm not sure if that's a missing feature (then I'd need to request a feature ticket) or a bug.
Should I could just post the normal logs, because its not crashing for me?
