strict mode vs. pytest.raises(parametrised exc type)

This code doesn't pass pyright in stict mode:

        excinfo: pytest.ExceptionInfo[pebble.ExecError[str]]
        with pytest.raises(pebble.ExecError) as excinfo:
            container.exec(['foo']).wait()
        assert excinfo.value.exit_code == 10

I can change it like this:

        excinfo: pytest.ExceptionInfo[pebble.ExecError[str]]
        with pytest.raises(pebble.ExecError[str]) as excinfo:
            container.exec(['foo']).wait()
        assert excinfo.value.exit_code == 10

But then it fails at runtime:

What's the correct way to handle this?
