Compiling for RX 7800XT - Errors

Hey, not sure if i am doing anything wrong, but i want to compile it for my RX 7800XT.
So my steps are:

• Install wsl with ubuntu 22.04 image on windows 11
• then i run these commands:

git clone https://github.com/lamikr/rocm_sdk_builder.git
cd rocm_sdk_builder
git checkout releases/rocm_sdk_builder_612
git config --global user.name "John Doe"
git config --global user.email [email protected]
./install_deps.sh

but at the end i get this error:

Git LFS initialized.
Warning, /dev/kfd AMD GPU device driver does not exist

Errors detected, fix them by following advices and run this script again to verify that they are fixed

Am i missing something?

AMD hasn't released a driver for the 7800 XT to run via WSL. For now (or maybe forever) only the 7900 series are supported.

I am not fully sure does WSL also require 6.2 or 6.3 version of rocm sdk as a base. I tried briefly on Windows machine to install AMD's radeon drivers and at least that alone did not help me to get the /dev/kfd visible on Windows. In addition some other steps quild be needed by I did not find exact steps when I searched.
