I have similar use case: update the artifacts created by earlier version of specify and potentially updated by the me (programmer), when specify has been upgraded.
I wish there is a specify sub-command to automate the above process. If it's already implemented please let me know. Or please share better ideas. Or I'll create an issue to capture the requirements. I have cross posted the same at #732 with clearer title. |

I am picking up a older spec kit project on a new machine which already has all the files. looks like there is no way to re-initalize a spec kit instead when I initalize it it overwrites the old files and I loose progress on my plan/tasks. Is this a feature gap or am I doing something wrong?
