Pangolin 1.2.0 - X-Forward to Nextcloud

Hello everyone,

I have successfully installed Pangolin V 1.2.0 on my VPS, including Crowdec. I'm really impressed with Pangolin! Through the system, I can access both my Azuracast Radio Auto DJ and my Nextcloud.

However, for monitoring Nextcloud and Azuracast, I need the original IP address of the client making the request. The topic of "X-Forwarded-For" is relevant here. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a clear way to set this up in Pangolin. Currently, it seems that there's no option to configure this via the GUI.

Does anyone have a guide on which files need to be modified to achieve the desired result?

You're right that there is not way to configure this via the UI. To help me visualize-- how would you want to be able to configure this in the UI?

Hello, thank you for your reply.
I am a complete novice when it comes to X-Forward with Traefik.
I am currently unable to judge how this can and should look in the GUI and whether it works at all.

In order for my Nextcloud to be as secure as possible, Crowdsec needs real IPs to be able to make a decision.

This is an example. Perhaps a simple, feasible solution will be found in the future.
