Alphabetical sorting icons

We've heard feedback that the sort icons used in the data grid (perhaps elsewhere, too) seem backwards. In a quick scan of other applications, this looked to be the case however the answer is not so simple as you'll see below.

Quick search of patterns

Predominantly a down arrow for A-Z but there are notable exceptions in Word and Google Docs (2nd and 3rd images)

Possible solutions

1. Flip the arrows we have
2. Flip the arrows and use other, existing icons for sortAsending and sortDescending
3. Create two new icons - both with an arrow pointing down - that incorporate the letters AZ into the glyph (like the Microsoft and Google examples above)

Feel free to add other ideas below.

I'll kick the thread off by proposing option 3 since the up and down arrows seem rather subjective and could annoy people in either case. Specifically, I lean towards the Microsoft version with the A and Z stacked alongside a tall arrow.

I like adding new A-Z/Z-A icons and I would also like to switch to the sortAscending / sortDescending icons for non-alphabetical schemas
