I would say that with the addition of stuff like Parsec, the extension is already starting to grow apart from the notebook. As long as the extension is named "deforum" I think that users would have an expectation of being able to use most of the key features that are present in the real deforum notebook. As long as the main things can continue to be ported over as needed, I don't see a problem with diverging more from that project. Just an opinion. |

I think the next push should be to restructure all of the codebase. We shouldn't necessarily worry about the notebook. We should split most of the functionality up into separate files so that when updates in PRs happen, that they do not necessarily affect other PR's. This is the most clustered project I think that I have every work on in my life. I want to call it a cluster F%#^. Its like working on a job, turning around and some dude is walking away with your drill or ladder. Too agile.
What does everyone think about that?
