Ubuntu 24 on Workflow Editor

• I confirm I have searched the Docs, Codemagic Sample Projects, and GitHub Discussions.
• I confirm the software versions on my local computer match the ones in CI environment (e.g. Xcode version, Gradle version). See here
• I confirm I am able to do a fresh clone of the repository and build the project on my local computer.

Steps to reproduce

Try to use Ubuntu 24 in Workflow editor.

Expected results

Possible to select which image to use.

Actual results

Unable to select. We should be able to choose even without YML. I don't want to convert now every step of my already working workflow to a YML.

Is there a way to set globally in my account to use the newer ubuntu?

Hi @atrope unfortunately it's not currently possible to select a different Ubuntu version using the Workflow Editor, this can only be done via codemagic.yaml

We've added your suggestion as a feature request and I'll let you know once it's implemented.
