Turning RPG Code Assist On and Off

Question,
Is it possible to toggle or turn on or off the code assist in RPG coding in VS Code. Sometimes it is super helpful, but sometimes it is super annoying. This is generally in cases where I am coding but the content is something or a direction I need to go but the code assist is continually trying to steer me in what it thinks I am trying to do.

Is there a way to turn it on when I want it and turn it off when I don't want it.
