         ty would probably (eventually) be the more appropriate thing to replace pylance over ruff. As it states very clearly across your 2 links, ruff is just a linter and formatter. In the meantime, if you want to ditch pylance, there are alternative, production ready python language servers. basedpyright is specifically intended to be something of a pylance alternative.  |

I have read #16089 and Ruff features.
But it will be fantastic if Ruff supports more LSP features [1][2] and even replace Pylance.
You know Pylance is relatively slow and not stable.
