How does it work?
Flipper Authenticator application DOES NOT require any connection to your phone, computer, bluetooth, wi-fi and etc. It works completely offline.
When you set up two-factor authentication on an account you want to protect with Flipper Authenticator, the app generates a N
-digit code that you need to enter to log in. For security reasons, the code changes every M
seconds, so you don’t have a lot of time to enter it. Where N
is configurable and could be either 6
or 8
(default is 6
), M
is configurable and could be from 15
to 255
(default is 30
).
You can set up two-factor authentication with Flipper Authenticator on popular services like Gmail, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. When you open the app, you can see all the services you setup or setup new if you would like.
